Joined the RAF in World War 2 (enlisted 1941, demobbed 1946) and went to India and Singapore.
Lived at 17 Norfolk Road, Barking 1949-1978, then to Rushden, Northants.

Died; 10 October 2004, Kettering General Hospital, Northamptonshore of prostate cancer & carcinomatosis.
Cremated at Kettering Crematorium, 21 October 2004.

Evacuated twice during the war, once to Weston super Mare and once to Hydon Heath near Godalming.

Children; Kathleen Irene (born 1949), Anne (born 1950), Alan (born 1951).
Lived at 17 Norfolk Road, Barking 1949-1978. To Rushden, Northants. To Heathfield, East Sussex in 2005. To Hurstwood View Care Home, Uckfield in 2021.
Died; 27 November 2022 at Hurstwood View Care Home, Uckfield.
