Harry was an only child.
Living at 56 Wedderburn Road, Barking at the 1911 Census, builders labourer.
Worked at Woolwich Arsenal.

Died; perhaps late 1940s.
After the death of his wife Jessie in the 1920s Harry became increasingly depressed. Sometime (perhaps late 1940s?) his son-in-law Jack Adams (who married his daughter Nellie) found Harry with his head on a cushion in the gas oven. Attempts were made to disguise the death as being from natural causes, but there was too much evidence to the contrary.

Parents; not known, but Jessie is believed to have had an unmarried sister named "Lou" Waller and a brother Fred Waller in Leytonstone who married Connie ?? and they had two children, Freddie and Leslie.

Married; Annie ?? (189?-19??) around 1914. (A James H Wall married Fannie Porter in the Romford area at the end of 1915)

1894 - 1968 FREDERICK GEORGE WALL

Born; 8 August 1894, Forest Gate.
Parents; Harry Wall (1874-194?) = Jessie Waller (1875-c.1925)
Living at 56 Wedderburn Road, Barking at the 1911 Census, tinsmith.

Enlisted to the Royal Naval Division at Crystal Palace on 30 December 1914. "Carman", aged 20, 5 feet 2 inches tall, brown hair, brown eyes, scar on right cheek. Served in Gallipoli. Demobbed 13 April 1919.
He was a Driver (as in horses) so he must have been familiar with horses before the war. He was attached to the 2nd Field Ambulance, Royal Naval Division (RND) in Gallipoli in November 1915. Alter the evacuation in January 1916 he was sent to the local Transport Depot in Kephalos Harbour which is on the nearby Greek island of Imbros (the British HQ for the Gallipoli campaign). In May 1916 he moved to Mudros, another but bigger Greek island and from there arrived in Marseilles. From there he would have gone by train to a quiet sector in France.
The next big battle he would have been involved in was the Battle of the Ancre, Somme in November 1916. In February he was attached to the Divisional HQ of the RND, now rebranded to the 63rd (RND) Division, but a month later he was then working on the Divisional train, most probably still working with horses. I assume he saw the war out in this role. A lucky man to have survived!
Irene Ethel Clementson wrote "F G Wall Pte, 3 medals, R.M.98 Deal 813 (S) R.M."

Lived at 1 Norfolk Road, Barking for most of her married life, only moving to her daughter's house in Rushden, Northants in her final years.

Royce was in the Sea Cadets, then joined the Royal Navy during World War II. Electrician, worked on repairing landing craft.
Was posted to Singapore.
Married; Daisy Howe (1926-2012) on 5 April 1947.

Evacuated twice during the war, once to Weston super Mare and once to Hydon Heath near Godalming.
Lived at 17 Norfolk Road, Barking 1949-1978, then to Rushden, Northants. To Davenport Park, Heathfield, East Sussex in 2005 and Hurstwood View Care Home, Uckfield in 2021.
Died; 27 November 2022 at Hurstwood View Care Home, Uckfield.
